News for England Midlands – 25 October 2015

We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Intermediate training and is on the air today and next Sunday. On Tuesday there’s a club night and the UKAC, whilst Wednesday sees VHF and UHF activities. Thursday has a technical night, plus construction, CW tuition and radio operation on datamodes. Coventry Amateur Radio Society has its club net on Monday from 8pm on 145.375MHz and/or 7.16MHz ±QRM. On Friday there’s an open net. Contact John, G8SEQ, on 07958 777 363.

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society is holding an informal meeting on Monday. On Wednesday there’s a club net from 7.30pm starting on 145.500MHz. Thursday sees a net commencing on 145.550MHz at 7.30pm and then moving to other bands. Contact Anne, 2E1GKY, on 01242 699 595, daytime.

South Birmingham Radio Society is working in the shack and having a ragchew on Monday. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday.
