We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on 50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees an open net on 145.250MHz from 7.30pm. Contact Robert Bird, by email to spirit.guide@hotmail.co.uk.

Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is having a talk on Monday about the islands in the Bristol Channel by Somerset photographer and film maker Neil Clarke. On Wednesday there’s a club net from 7.30pm starting on 145.500MHz. Thursday sees a net commencing on 145.550MHz at 7.30pm and then moving to other bands. South Birmingham Radio Society is working in the shack on Monday. Tuesday sees the regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am.
