We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on 50.135MHz from 8.30pm tonight and next Sunday. Monday sees a club meeting. More information from Robert Bird, by email to spirit.guide@hotmail.co.uk.

Wythall Radio Club has its club net at 8pm tonight on 145.225MHz or GB3WL. Monday sees a curry night at the Monsoon. On Tuesday there’s the regular Morse class plus preparations for Wythall Carnival. The nibbles night in the shack is from 7.30pm on Friday. Next Saturday sees the RSGB Backpackers 144MHz contest and the RSGB 144MHz Low Power contest. Next Sunday it’s the RSGB 80m RoPoCo CW contest plus the RSGB 432MHz Low Power contest then the club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL. Contact Chris, G0EYO, on 07710 412 819.

RAF Waddington Amateur Radio Club has its net on Monday from 8pm on 145.325MHz. Thursday sees a talk on TV streaming by Bob Fisk, G7AVU, from 7.30pm. Contact Bob, G3VCA, on 07971 166 250.
