We start with news that the M0OCT ARS is running a Foundation course in the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire area, starting on Saturday 11 April and running for three weeks, with the exam on 25 April. Now for news from clubs that have several events this week. Lincoln Short Wave Club is taking part in the UKCC on Tuesday. On Wednesday there are shack activities with G5FZ on the air. Midland Amateur Radio Society Club is visiting the Wythall Radio Rally today. On Wednesday there’s a committee meeting and training classes. Details from Norman, G8BHE, on 07808 078 003.

South Birmingham Radio Society has its club stand at the Wythall Rally today. Monday sees a rally debrief and a committee meeting. The regular coffee morning in the shack is from 11am on Tuesday. Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society is attending the Wythall rally today. There’s a club meeting on Monday and Tuesday sees the open net on 70.475MHz FM from 7.30pm. Wythall Radio Club is running the Wythall rally today and there’s a club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm tonight and next Sunday.
