Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has its 6m open net on 50.135MHz SSB from 7.30pm today and on the next two Sundays. Tomorrow and next Monday see an open net on 145.250MHz from 7.30pm. More information from Robert Bird, by email to spirit.guide@hotmail.co.uk.

Wythall Radio Club has its club net on 145.225MHz at 8pm tonight and on the next two Sundays. On Monday there’s a curry night at the Monsoon from 6.30pm. The Tuesday Morse class is at 7.45pm followed by a discussion on the future of amateur radio led by Chris, G7DDN and Mark, G4FPH. South Birmingham Radio Society is having coffee and leftovers from the Christmas party on Tuesday. The club is closed on New Year’s Day, but the shack is open on the 2nd. Monday the 5th sees the start of sorting surplus item for rally sales. The regular coffee mornings in the shack restart on Tuesday 6th at 11am, and Thursday 8th sees training classes with Dave Murphy, G8OWL. Work in the shack resumes on Friday 9 January.
