On Tuesday, Halifax and District Amateur Radio Society will meet to hear a talk by Max Townend, G4SDX entitled ‘An introduction to the 4m Band’. Hartlepool Amateur Radio Club will be running special event station GB0TVS during the Jamboree on the Air weekend, the 20 to the 22 October. The station will be located at the Hartlepool Scout Centre, 236 Stockton Road, Hartlepool TS25 1JW. It will be active on the HF and VHF bands and welcomes any contacts. Visitors will also be welcome. John, GD0TFG will give a talk on RTTY to the Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society on Wednesday the 18 October in Ballasalla. Scheduled meetings at the Sea Cadets Hall in Tromode are not taking place at present. An update will be provided when meetings resume.
