Bishop Auckland Radio Amateurs Club will be meeting at the village hall in Stanley Crook on Thursday evening from 7.30pm onwards. Anyone who is wishing to study or take their exams, please visit the club website. barac.org.uk

On Sundays, Durham and District Amateur Radio Society takes part in the North East Net on 50.575MHz at 7pm. On Monday the club will again be active in the North East Net on 70.350MHz at 7pm. There will be a club meeting on Friday at 6pm. Next Saturday the club will be taking part in the North East Net on 145.425MHz from 7pm.

Houghton-Le-Spring Amateur Radio Club has an SSTV net on Sundays from 8pm on 144.700MHz FM. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday there will be Morse tuition and practice from 8pm on 144.700MHz FM. Also on Monday, Wednesday and Friday there is a net on 145.450MHz FM for general chat. On Tuesday there is a meeting from 6pm at Dubmire Royal British Legion Club. The Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society is taking its Christmas and New Year break. Regular meetings resume at the Sea-Scout hall, Tromode  on Tuesday the 10th of January and at the Scout Hut, Mill Road, Ballasalla on Wednesday the 4th of January. Nets are on the GB3IM repeater network after the 11am GB2RS news bulletin and talk-in Wednesday night at 6.40pm.
