Bury Radio Society has nets on Sundays at 6pm and Thursdays at 8pm, beginning on 144.550MHz. The club will be at the NARSA rally again this year. If you’re attending, you are encouraged to stop by their stand and say hello. On Tuesday there is a social evening, and if you are studying for the RSGB exams, you can attend a tutorial session. Houghton-Le-Spring Amateur Radio Club has an SSTV net on Sundays from 8pm on 144.700MHz FM. Monday and Wednesday see Morse tuition & practice from 8pm on 144.700MHz FM. On Tuesday there’s a meeting from 6pm at Dubmire Royal British Legion Club. Thursday sees a CW net on 144.060MHz from 8.30pm.
