News for England North – 5 September 2021

With clubs beginning to meet face to face and enjoy other activities, please make sure you keep GB2RS up to date. We can now accept repeat information such as nets and meetings but you must let us know at least every three months that nothing has changed.

Club meetings on the Isle of Man remain suspended. There is an open net on GB3IM on Wednesday nights from 7.30pm. The net on Sunday on 3.715MHz at 9.30am and 10pm plus the net on GB3IM after the 11am GB2RS news bulletin continue. Club news and events are on the website, Facebook and Twitter. 

South Manchester Radio and Computer Club has a net on Sundays at 8.15am on 3660kHz and 10.30am on 3637kHz. Monday sees a meeting in the digital chatroom YSF GB-SRRCC. Tuesday sees a Morse net from 7.15pm around 3553kHz, followed by a technical net around 145.475MHz at 8pm. On Thursday there’s a discussion net regarding a future venue from 8pm around 145.475MHz. Sheffield & District Wireless Society has a members’ Jitsi meeting on Sundays from 11am. Wednesday sees a net on 145.475MHz at 8pm. Peter, G3PHO, 01246 260 308

Wakefield & District Radio Society runs the 2E0IPC Memorial Net on 144.600MHz from 10.15am on Sundays. On Friday there is an open net from 7pm via GB3HD. Charles, M0OXO, 0790 050 0775

Houghton-le-Spring Amateur Radio Club meets on Tuesday at the Dubmire Royal British Legion Club from 6pm. There is an SSTV net on 144.700MHz from 8pm on Sundays.
