Houghton-le-Spring Amateur Radio Club has an open SSTV net on Sundays from 8pm on 144.700MHz FM. There’s Morse practice, for beginner to intermediate levels, from 2pm on 144.700MHz FM on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Advanced Morse practice is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on 144.700MHz FM. Tuesday sees a club night from 6.30pm, under social distancing conditions. Bishop Auckland Radio Amateur club has a digital net on GB7CY from 7.30pm on Monday. Club meetings have resumed on Thursday evenings, with special COVID-19 precautions including masks, signing in and social distancing.
