We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

This Sunday, Oldham Radio Club has their D-Star net on REF 14B, from 9.30am, and on Wednesday there’s a 2m FM net from 8pm. Thursday sees a club night and Intermediate course, and next Sunday it’s the turn of the C4FM net, FCS004-55, from 9.30am. More from Mike, M1CVL on 0740 276 3203.

On Monday Thornton Cleveleys Amateur Radio Society holds a quiz night, led by Les, 2E0DYY. On Wednesday there’s a committee meeting. Enquiries to John, G4FRK on 01253 862 810.

Halifax and District Amateur Radio Society is meeting as normal on Tuesday at 7pm. The club radio will be operating on FT8. On Wednesday there’s an open net on GB3HD from 7.30pm, and Thursday sees a joint net with RAFARS on 145.350MHz from 7pm. Contact Martin, M0GQB on 01422 341 317.
