We start with news from Wirral Amateur Radio Society that they will hold the official opening of their new shack next Saturday, the 16th. All are invited to attend at 10.30am for the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11am. The address is Unit 17, Peninsula Business Park, Squibb Drive (off Reeds Lane), Moreton, Wirral CH46 1DW. Stockport Radio Society continues its Advanced class on Monday. On there’s a club net starting on 51.550MHz FM at 7.30pm then QSY to 50.270MHz SSB at 8.15pm. Thursday sees a club net from 7.30pm on 145.375MHz. Details from Heather Stanley, M6HNS, on 07506 904 422.
