We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Wakefield District Radio Society continues its Portable Weekend Away operation, today, and tomorrow, Monday the 25th. The club is holding its AGM on Friday. Contact Darryl, M0LDI, on 07910 208 619.

Mexborough and District Amateur Radio Society is preparing for special events on Tuesday and Friday. Contact Darrell, G0FUO, on 07887 423 221.

Stockport Radio Society is running a skills night on Tuesday, following up on the equipment and repair night with Pete, M0PTB. Monday also sees the 2m, HF and Morse nets. Next Saturday and Sunday the Peak Contest group, the contesting arm of the society, is taking part in the 48 hour CQWW WPX CW Contest. Details from Heather Stanley, on 07506 904 422.

On Bank Holiday Monday, North Amateur Radio Club, Bolton Wireless Club, Sheffield Amateur Radio Club and Thornton Cleveleys Amateur Radio Society are closed.

On Monday Wearside Electronics and Amateur Radio Society is open and on the air from 7pm on all bands and are continuing the Foundation and Intermediate courses.
