Appledore and District Amateur Radio Club has a net on 1.860MHz from 9.30am on Sundays, followed by a net on 144.260MHz USB at 10.30am and a net via the GB3DN repeater at 11am.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, there is a net via GB3DN from 11am. There is a DMR net on Tuesdays at 8pm and a net on 144.260MHz on Wednesday.

On Fridays, there is a net on 145.450MHz FM at 8pm.

Blackmore Vale Amateur Radio Society meets at the New Remembrance Hall, Charlton, Shaftesbury SP7 0PL at 7.30pm on Tuesdays.

On Wednesdays, nets take place on 145.425MHz from 7pm, on 28.360MHz USB at 8pm, then on 70.425MHz FM at 9pm.

Dorset Amateur Radio Social Network is planning a large stall at the Flight Refuelling Amateur Radio Society’s Hamfest next Sunday, 9 August.

Exeter Amateur Radio Society meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at America Hall in the Sunnylands room, De La Rue Way, Pinhoe, Exeter, EX4 8PX.

Meetings are held at 7pm and new members are always welcome.

Flight Refuelling Amateur Radio Society has its annual radio rally next Sunday, 9 August. There are club nights from 7pm on Sundays and Wednesdays.

The Society holds a Morse Academy on Thursdays from 7pm. Also on Thursdays, there are nets on 70.400MHz from 7pm, and on 145.375MHz from 8pm.

Jersey Amateur Radio Society’s clubroom is now open on Fridays from 7.30pm. On Sunday at 8pm there is a DMR net on GB3GJ Talk Group 23516. All amateurs are welcome to join in.

An old footpath has been reinstated to gain access to the club from the Meteorological Radar Tower to Mast B. Please be very careful as the ground is uneven. You will need a torch if it is dark.

Poole Radio Society has a net on Mondays on 145.375MHz at 7.30pm.

The net moves to 70.375MHz at 7.30pm on Tuesdays and to 144.375MHz USB on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.

On Thursday there is a talk and demonstration on first aid by a representative from the British Red Cross. On Saturday from 8am, there is a net on 28.055MHz.
