We start with advance news from Torbay Amateur Radio Society that they will run a Foundation course from the end of April. The course will be three hours a week for six or seven weeks on Friday evenings and will cost £75, plus the cost of the exam. Later on in the year there will be an Intermediate course, costing £85 plus exam fee. Only a limited number of places are available and they recommend booking early to secure a place. Flight Refuelling Amateur Radio Society has a treasure sale this Sunday, with club nights this Sunday, Wednesday and next Sunday. There’s a net on Thursday from 8pm on 145.350MHz FM. Saturday and Sunday sees the Foundation course. For details, email info@frars.co.uk.
