We start with clubs that have several events this week. Kilmarnock and Loudoun Amateur Radio Club has its Sunday club today and next Sunday from 9am to 1pm. On Tuesday there’s a construction and education night from 7pm and Thursday sees a construction evening. Contact Graham, MM3GDC, by email to mm3gdc@btinternet.com.

Stirling District Amateur Radio Society is open today from 10.30am till late afternoon today and next Sunday for construction, training, projects and operating. The weekly club meeting is on Thursday. Contact John McGowan, by email to gm0fsv@gm6nx.com.

On Saturday 5 July Cockenzie and Port Seton Amateur Radio Club commences its weekend operating for VHF Field Day. More information from Bob, GM4UYZ, on 01875 811 723.

Wigtownshire Amateur Radio Club will be operating GB4JPJ next Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the birthday of John Paul Jones, founder of the modern US and Russian navies, at his birthplace. Members of the public as well as visiting amateurs are very welcome to attend, and there is free entry to the museum on the day. There is a fully equipped camp and caravan site on location so you can stay over for the evenings of 4 and 5 July. Organisation is by Club President Wul, 2M0WUL.
