Eric, F6ICX will be active as 5R8IC from Sainte-Marie Island, AF-090, from 16 November to 15 December. He will operate mainly CW, with some RTTY, BPSK and SSB, on the 10 to 40m bands. QSL via his home callsign either direct or bureau, and LoTW. Log search and OQRS is on Club Log.
A multinational group will be in Juba, South Sudan from 14 to 28 November and will activate Z81X with an emphasis on low bands, 80 and 160m. The period includes the CQWW CW contest with some single-band entries and low-band SSB focus during the contest weekend. The plan is to activate three FTDx3000 stations with amplifiers, low-band verticals and beverage antennas. Two different radio locations may be used. The operation will be generator based. The Z81X team will use their QRZ.com pages for providing further updates.
The Swaziland 3DA0ET DXpedition is scheduled to run from 18 to 27 November. A multinational team of 12 operators will run 4 stations, covering all the HF bands and, possibly, 6m on CW, SSB and RTTY with a dedicated RTTY only station with two British operators. Chris, G8OPB and John, GW4SKA will be looking for the UK especially.
An international group of operators will be on air from Myanmar from 15 to 26 November. The proposed callsign is XZ1J and plans are to set up three or four stations, running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the 10 through to 160m bands. Modes will likely be CW, SSB and RTTY, with QSLs preferably going via OQRS.
