Jim Robson, GM3CFS, 26 July 2013
Jim Robson (GM3CFS) sadly passed away on the 26th July 2013, aged 92.
His radio career began back in 1939 when he joined the Merchant Navy as a Radio Officer. He served on a multitude of ships until he left the Navy in 1958 to start his family. His love for Amateur Radio never dwindled and he continued to operate until December 2012 when ill health regretfully prevented him from continuing.
My sincere thanks to all those who knew him and helped him enjoy his interest so much, and for so long.
