RSGB Contest Support Committee Chair Ian Pawson, G0FCT
Why did you choose to volunteer with the RSGB? To help other people enjoy contesting. I enjoy puzzles.
How long have you been an RSGB volunteer? Thirty-five years; I attended my first VHFCC meeting on 2Â May 1991.
What would you say to people who are thinking of volunteering? It’s a great way to give back to something we enjoy.
Which aspect of amateur radio would you still like to try? Not sure, I’ve tried so many aspects of amateur radio since I gained my first licence in 1974.
