Mike Adcock, G8CMU, 17th November 2021
Mike Adcock, G8CMU, formerly GW8CMU, passed away on 17 November 2021, following a routine operation in hospital. Mike was a volunteer for the Society, having been a member of the RSGB VHF Committee and then progressing to Chairman of the VHF Committee in the 1990s. He was well known by the VHF/UHF fraternity, particularly by those members participating in the UKAC contesting events. His funeral, in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire was attended by ex-members of the RSGB VHF Contest Committee, the VHF Committee and the Barry Amateur Radio Society.
