Special nets and call signs during GOTA4C
- Antrim and District Amateur Radio Society plan to run a 2 metre FM net each evening from 19 December 2020 to 9 January 2021 between 1900 to 2000 hours. Listen out on or about 145.475, and they will be using the club call sign MN0GFE. They are keen to make contact with as many as possible and particularly those who may be housebound
- Welland Valley Amateur Radio Society members are running a number of special call signs during December:
- GB1XMS run from shack of CG1IVG
- GB2XMS run from shack of G4ISN
- GB5XMS run from shack of G4XEX
- GB9XMS run from shack of G0SFJ
- Thurrock Acorns ARC are running GB4XMS Christmas On The Air from 20 December – 3 January 2021
- Barry Amateur Radio Society club members will operate using the call CC4BRS/A via radio amateur satellites from their own QTH rather than their club from 20 – 25 December due to Covid restrictions. They hope to extend greetings to as many operators as possible
- The RSGB National Radio Centre 80m Net will run each weekday at 10.30 (local) on 3.727MHz and the NRC volunteers are keen for radio amateurs to call-in. Get on the air and have a chat – they’d love to hear from you!
- Members and supporters of Denby Dale ARS are running special event stations to welcome the New Year from the end of December. They will be using callsigns GB – number – HNY. For more details see the QRZ.com entry for GB9HNY
