Gerald (Gerry) Openshaw, G2BTO, 6th September 2015
It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Gerald (Gerry) Openshaw, G2BTO, on the 6th September 2015, aged 96.
Born in 1919, Gerald was a life long radio enthusiast. His skills and enthusiasm where put to good use serving with many others at Bletchley Park during WW2. Gerald was a long standing member of the Radio Society of Great Britain, and for many years delighted in the challenges and achievement of world wide communication and understanding. Gerald is survived by his wife Marjorie and daughter Louise.
