Geoff Barwell, G0EEB, 6 June 2014
Geoff Barwell, G0EEB passed away on 6 June and his well-attended funeral was on Friday 13 June.
Geoff was a friend of mine for well over 20 years. He was an Old Soldier and served in Singapore in the Redcaps (Military Police). He was an old Freemason and also won the Midlands small bore rifle championships three years running. His knowledge on radio equipment was outstanding and I spent many hours chatting to him over the years in his shack, as he only lived half a mile from my QTH.
He was one of the lads: a true trooper.
