NoV available for Jubilee celebrations
We have just published the Notice of Variation that will enable radio amateurs licensed by Ofcom to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen by using the special RSL ‘Q’. This NoV is available for use throughout June 2022 but you can apply for it now.

Volunteer changes
The RSGB would like to thank Rob Evered, G2RE and Emily Groves, M7MLE for their volunteering on behalf of the Society. Rob volunteered as the Youth Champion and Emily was Chair of the Legacy Committee. She has stood down due to her greatly increased personal workload associated with her charitable activities.
Suffix /70 permitted for Platinum Jubilee
Following a request by the RSGB, Ofcom has indicated that stations wishing to retain their usual Regional Secondary Locator to identify their DXCC entity may use the suffix /70 to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
