RSGB 2024 AGM Q & A

RSGB 2024 AGM – do you have a question for the Board?

Over the last few years we have been developing the way in which the Board can be asked questions at our online AGMs. Last year we took questions from the YouTube live chat as well as those submitted in writing in advance.

This year, in response to members’ feedback, you will also be able to ask a question via Zoom.

We will still take written questions in advance and we will also answer as many questions on the day via the live chat as possible, depending on time.

We cannot guarantee that we will have time to answer every question during the meeting but we will do our best to answer as many as possible. Board Directors will answer by email any questions submitted in advance that are not answered during the AGM.

Questions via Zoom

You will have the chance to ask your question live and you will have one follow-up question on the same topic after the Board has given its answer.

To enable us to manage this process as smoothly as possible, you will need to register in advance. You will be asked for the topic of your question, as only RSGB members are allowed to ask questions during the formal part of the AGM.

The link to register will be available from Wednesday 13 March and will close at 12 noon on Friday 5 April.

Written questions in advance

If you’d like to submit a written question in advance, you can do so between Wednesday 13 March and when voting ends at 0900 on 11 April 2024. You will need to submit your question via the form that will be on this page from 13 March.

Live chat questions

We won’t accept any live chat questions during the formal part of the AGM. If you would like to ask a question during that part of the meeting, please either submit a written question in advance or register to ask a question via Zoom.

Further details will be shared in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye on this web page and also our other communications channels.
