Why space matters

Satellites support weather forecasts, navigation, communications, mapping, emergency response, climate monitoring and science. World Space Week helps show how space benefits people on Earth and inspires exploration.

Taking part in international events like this is a chance to show wider audiences that amateur radio is part of space exploration, education and communication.
