YOTA Paris 2025 – Day 6

Wow, has that gone quickly and we are all so tired now! Sunday was all about celebrating the camp’s achievements and saying goodbye to so many new friends we’ve made from Germany to South Africa, Japan and the US and more.  The morning was full of flag ceremonies and photos, and it was amazing to see so many flying.

After lunch, we all gave short presentations about what our countries are doing to promote YOTA, what we liked most about the camp and what we took away. We all appreciated the varied and new activities we tried while here, such as POTA and space operations, and have taken away that youngsters meeting and teaching each other is the best way of sharing ideas and developing the hobby.

The evening was dedicated to the closing ceremony which was a final chance to run over all the amazing opportunities we had at YOTA and all our amazing successes. Afterwards, we headed down to the shack for the last time to share stories and food and sign each other’s flags.

YOTA has been an amazing experience. We can’t really explain how much we enjoyed it here. If you ever have the chance to go on a YOTA camp, or are thinking about applying for next year – go for it and you will never regret it!
