Student gains Foundation licence
Congratulations to Architaa, M7KKR who recently gained her Foundation licence. Architaa became curious about amateur radio having seen her dad, Krishnan, M0RSK, on the air. The Foundation course has also helped her work towards her Duke of Edinburgh award.
Architaa says: “It was great to attend the two-day Foundation course at Cray Valley Radio Society. I’m enjoying amateur radio and exploring Morse code.”
Architaa has also spoken to her teacher about amateur radio with so much enthusiasm that the teacher has enquired about the possibility of running a radio club at the school as an extra-curricular programme. Watch this space!
