On the 5 and 6 May 2024, Lincolnshire RAYNET will be running special event station GB4NLI in support of SOS Radio Week and celebrating 200 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. With the kind permission from the station’s management and East Lindsey District Council, the radio station will be located adjacent to the Lifeboat Station in Skegness, Lincolnshire. The station will be active on the 40 and 20m bands using SSB and on the 2m and 70cm bands using FM. The expected hours of operation will be, approximately, between 9am and 4pm local time.
