Aberkenfig and District Amateur Radio Club has its weekly meeting on Wednesday from 7pm at Tondu Railway Club, Station Approach, Bridgend. The Club is an approved RSGB Examination Centre for those wishing to study and take their amateur radio exams. Brian, GW4DVB, info@aberkenfigradioclub.co.uk

Carmarthen Amateur Radio Society’s final meeting of 2023 will be a face-to-face social evening with mince pies and nibbles on the 19 December. This is a members and partners only function, being held from 6.30pm at the usual Cwmduad venue, so there will be no digital net on XLX490D that evening. On Tuesday 2 January 2024 there will be a New Year social evening with nibbles from 6.30pm. Many of the Society’s nets, including the Sunday 80m SSB net, will continue throughout the festive period. Cwmbran and District Amateur Radio Society has a club night every Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at Henllys Village Hall, NP44 6JZ. New and old members are always welcome. The Society has a fully-equipped shack for member use which also houses the GB3YA repeater, with an Echolink connection via GB3YA-R, which are both owned and maintained by the club.
