The UK-wide Online Amateur Radio Community’s Discord server runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The server has multiple channels covering every conceivable interest within amateur radio. Activities include: a weekly slow-to-medium speed CW net, a fortnightly Zoom social, called ‘The Rubber Duck’, and a multi-platform digital bridge, that is available across multiple networks including DMR, Echolink, D-Star, and Allstar. On Tuesday, Halifax and District Amateur Radio Society will hear a short presentation by Max Townend, G4SDX introducing the programme of events for the Society’s Summer QRP Festival. The club meeting of the Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society at its shack in Ballasalla next Wednesday 24 May will be as normal but will be suspended during the TT fortnight. The next meeting at the Sea Cadets Hall in Tromode is on Tuesday 13 June.
