News for Wales – 3 October 2021
Carmarthen Amateur Radio Society have restarted face-to-face meetings and Tuesday sees an interim AGM. Please note, all members of the club are urged to attend if they can, and face coverings should be worn unless exempt. Meetings now occur on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, there is no 2m net on GB3FG on those nights. Contact Andy, GW0JLX, on 0776 828 2880.
North Wales Amateur Radio Group has a net on Sundays from 8pm via GB3OR. There is a face to face meeting at 7pm in Mochdre Village Hall on Tuesday. Wednesday sees a Fusion net on GB3OR from 7pm and on Thursday there’s an analogue net via GB3OR from 7pm. Details are available here.
Rhondda Amateur Radio Society has nets at noon via GB3BC on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Tuesday also sees a net on GB3BC at 7pm that moves to 29.12MHz FM at 8pm, followed by a Zoom meeting from 8.30pm. Each evening during October, there will be a net initially on GB3BC from 6.30pm. Barry Amateur Radio Society has shack training on Tuesday. On Wednesdays at 8pm there is a club net on 144.550MHz and Fridays see a Zoom meeting from 7pm. Contact Steve, 2W0VOG on 0790 056 0080.
