Guidance relating to the COVID-19 pandemic is changing rapidly and on an area-by-area basis as this bulletin was being written. We strongly advise you to check with organisers before considering whether to take part in any events, and above all to observe all local and national restrictions including social distancing.
Bishop Auckland Radio Amateur Club has a club net on Sundays from 7.30pm via GB7CY, using digital mode only. On Thursday the net is on GB3CD from 7.30pm.
Central Lancs Amateur Radio Club has an open net on Sundays from 11am on 1.940MHz. Most days see a CQ and brew from about 2.30pm around 70.450MHz. On Tuesday it’s the club net from 7.30pm around 70.450MHz. Details from Peter, G3UCA on 01772 494 474.
Chester and District Radio Society has a net from noon on Sundays, beginning on 145.500MHz. Tuesday sees a net from 3pm around 145.5MHz and on Friday there’s a net beginning on 144.330MHz at 9.30pm. Contact Bruce, M0CVP, on 01244 343 825.
Isle of Man Amateur Radio Society has a net around 3.715MHz from 9.30am on Sundays, followed by a net on the GB3IM repeater network at 11.30am, following the GB2RS News. Tuesdays sees a net on GB3IM from 7.30pm. For details of the weekly meeting, email info@iomars.im.
South Manchester Radio and Computer Club has daily Morse practice and tuition available via Skype and email. There’s a net on Sundays from 10.30am around 3,637kHz. Stockport Radio Society has a daily CW net at 4pm between 3.563 and 3.565MHz. On Monday there’s a net on 433.525MHz starting at 7.30pm. On Friday, East Cleveland Amateur Radio Club is meeting for the first time after lockdown at the New Marske Institute Club, 29 Gurney Street, New Marske, Redcar TS11 8EG.
