News for England South-East – 2 February 2020
Sad news to start this week. Chesham and District Amateur Radio Society are sad to report the death of Shirley, G4HES, on 25 January, aged 84. Many amateurs will remember her from her involvement with RAIBC, and getting many through the RAE together with her late husband Ron, G3NCL. For those requiring further information, please contact Jeremy on 07982 183 413.
Just a reminder that all UK amateurs are required to revalidate their licence with Ofcom at least every five years. If it has been a while since you did that, go to ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-licence or email spectrum.licensing@ofcom.org.uk. The process doesn’t take very long.
