News for England North – 10 November 2019
We start with announcement from Wakefield and District Radio Society that they are launching an open net in memory of the late Bill Catney, 2E0IPC. It will run on Sundays on 144.600MHz from 10.15am, shortly after the local GB2RS News broadcast ends. Bill was a very competent instructor who helped over 100 people gain their Foundation Licence. More information on the new net, and the club, is at wdrs.club.
