News for Northern Ireland – 12 May 2019
Bushvalley Amateur Radio Club recently entered the Radio Society of Great Britain Club of the Year competition, which was once again sponsored by Waters & Stanton. The regional winners announced at the RSGB AGM on 27 April 2019 confirmed that Bushvalley ARC won the Region 8 award. This was an outstanding achievement, and news soon spread to club members after congratulations were published on social media by Region 8 Regional Representative Philip Hosey. In the meantime Bushvalley ARC members are celebrating and the club room at the next meeting, on Thursday, 30 May, will no doubt have some treats to help the members enjoy the usual delicious supper, which is a major part of their monthly events.
