News for Northern Ireland – 23 December 2018

The Region 8 GB2RS DMR news broadcast will be moving to the regional TG880, slot 2, from Sunday, 6 January. This will make the service more widely available than it currently is on TG8, especially to those without direct repeater access and who rely on online linked reflectors, whilst still keeping it within a regional group. As there is no official reading planned for Sunday, 30 December, there will be an informal DMR news net at the usual scheduled time, 7.30pm, on TG880, under our own call signs, during which we hope to bring you an spoken version of the latest Region 8 newsletter. This will also provide the opportunity to confirm all is good for TG880 and associated reflectors, ready for the first GB2RS reading of the New Year.
