We start with news from clubs that have several events this week.

Sutton Coldfield Amateur Radio Society has a club meeting on Monday, and Tuesday sees an open net on 70.475MHz from 7.30pm. All are welcome to join in. On Wednesday they are operating an SES with call sign GB4MOA for Museums On the Air at Staffordshire Regiment Museum, Whittington, near Lichfield from 10am to 4pm. Rugby Amateur Transmitting Society is taking part in the UK Activity Contest on 432MHz, having CW practice and training, radio operation and projects on Tuesday, and on Saturday they’ll be setting up for the RATS Rally 2018 at Princethorpe, where they’ll be in attendance next Sunday. On Wednesday Lincoln Short Wave Club is having a talk by Andy Gilfillan, G0FVI Antennas for Small Gardens, starting at 7.30pm.
