We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Worksop Amateur Radio Society continues its Intermediate course tonight. On Tuesday there’s a club night and the UK Activity Contest. On Thursday there’s a technical night with construction, Morse training, radio operation and data modes. Next Friday to Sunday sees the club at the RSGB Convention. Gloucester Amateur Radio and Electronics Society is having a talk on Monday on the history of hi-fi by David Briggs. On Wednesday there’s the club net from, 7.30pm, initially on 145.500 then moving to 145.550MHz or the nearest clear channel. Thursday also sees a net from 7.30pm, commencing on 145.550MHz. South Birmingham Radio Society has work in the shack on Monday. Tuesday sees the regular coffee morning in the shack from 11am to 1pm.
