Sunday, the 31st, the UK Microwave Groups contest runs from 0600 to 1800. Using all modes on the 5.7 and 10GHz bands, the exchange is signal report, serial number and locator.
The IOTA Contest ends its 24 hour run at 1200UTC on Sunday, the 31st. It’s CW and SSB only on the 3.5 to 28MHz bands. The exchange is signal report, serial number and IOTA reference.
On Tuesday, the 144MHz UK Activity Contest runs from 1900 to 2130UTC. Using all modes the exchange s signal report, serial number and locator.
On Saturday, the 4th, 144MHz Backpacker Contest takes place from 1300 to 1700UTC. Using all modes the exchange is signal report, serial number, locator and postcode.
Overlapping somewhat the 144MHz low Power Contest runs from 1400 to 2000UTC. Again using all modes the exchange is signal report, serial number, locator and postcode.
The Worked All Britain 144MHz Low Power Phone Contest takes place next Saturday, the 6th, from 1000 to 1800UTC. The exchange is signal report, serial number and WAB square. Entries need to be with the contest manager by 27 August. The maximum power allowed is 10 watts. All stations, including mobiles, should try to find out their IARU locator in addition to their WAB area, as this contest coincides with part of the RSG 144MHz contests.
