We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. This Sunday and next, Cambridge and District Amateur Radio Club has a net from 8.30am on 144.180MHz USB, from 10.30am on 7.0875MHz or 3.620MHz LSB, and from 11.30am on 145.550MHz FM. On Sunday the Radio Society of Harrow is meeting at Old Redding for an informal gathering at 2pm. If the weather is uncertain, listen to GB3HR to see what people are doing. Surrey Radio Contact Club has its net on 1905kHz from 9.30am today and next Sunday. Thursday sees a net on 70.300MHz from 8pm and Friday sees a net on 145.350MHz, also from 8pm. Contact John, G3MCX, on 020 8688 3322.
Worthing and District Amateur Radio Club has its regular net on 3.172MHz from 7.30am today and next Sunday. On Monday there’s a club net on 145.425MHz FM from 7.30pm. Wednesday sees the club going on the air outside and on Thursday there’s a club net on 7.106MHz SSB from 11am. Next Sunday there’s also a breakfast meeting at 9am. On Tuesday Fareham and District Amateur Radio Club has a net from 8pm onwards on 145.475MHz ± QRM. Wednesday sees VHF Field Day final planning. On Thursday the Top Band net is on 1967kHz from 7.30pm.
