We start with news from clubs that have several events this week. Central Radio Amateur Circle is at the Black Country Radio Rally today. South Birmingham Radio Society is at the Black Country Radio Rally today and has its regular coffee morning from 11am on Tuesday. Training classes with Dave Murphy, G8OWL are on Thursday. Wythall Radio Club is taking part in the CQ WPX CW contest and making a trip to the Black Country Rally today, followed by the club net on 145.225MHz or GB3WL at 8pm tonight and next Sunday. On Monday the Intermediate course continues, alongside the RSGB 80m Club Championship data leg. Tuesday is a free ‘n’ easy evening, plus the 144MHz UKAC Contest. The regular nibbles night is in the shack from 7.30pm on Friday. Next Saturday sees a trip to Martin Lynch’s open day plus the start of the HF CW Field Day contest, which concludes at 8pm on Sunday. Lincoln Short-Wave Club is taking part in the UKAC on Tuesday. Wednesday sees shack activities and G5FZ on the air. The repeater net is on Thursday from 8pm on GB3LM.
