Special Events News – 12 April 2015
Leicester Radio Society will be running a special event station on HF from about 10am until 5pm using GX3LRS at the Hobbies and Pastimes Steam Day today, 12th April. This takes place at the Abbey Pumping Station, LE4 5PX.
One of the war graves and memorials for fallen Australians is Polygon Wood in Belgium. To honour those at Polygon Wood, a commemorative callsign OP0PPY will be activated on 25th April, ANZAC Day. See qrz.com for more details.
Today, 12th April, Coventry Amateur Radio Society will be taking part in Airfields on the Air from Coventry Gliding Club Husbands Bosworth Airfield Leicestershire, as GX2ASF/P.
