Allen, G4PF and Janet, M0GWW will be celebrating Lancashire Day on the 27 November. They plan to be active from 2m to top band, conditions permitting.
Special event station KC9HYY/WSL3 will operational from the 21st to 24th in remembrance of the 98th anniversary of the sinking of HMHS Britannic on the morning of the 21 November 1916. The Britannic was the third and largest Olympic-class ocean liner of the White Star Line, launched just before the start of the World War One and soon converted to use as a hospital ship. The south-central Cuba region celebrates the 500th anniversary of two World Heritage cities founded in 1514. A group of operators in the province are getting together to run the special station CO0SS that will be active from 21 to 23 November. The frequencies and modes can be found on QRZ.com under CO0SS.
