YOTA summer camps

The YOTA Summer Camps are attended by small teams from across IARU Regions 1, 2 and 3.

Typically with around 100 attendees, the camps are an amazing opportunity for young people to operate the latest amateur radio equipment, take part in construction activities and make international friendships.

The main theme is usually planning for the future of the hobby and designing sessions to run back at home to inspire other youngsters.

Over the years, we have sent teams of young RSGB Members to the YOTA camps and we hosted the Summer Camp in the UK in 2017.

Applications are now open to be part of this year’s RSGB YOTA team going to Paris in August 2025. The camp is a chance of a lifetime for young RSGB members to represent their country and their national society. Apply now!
