International Women in Engineering Day – the STEAMettes
Kent-based group, the STEAMettes is run by John Hislop, G7OHO.
John says, “For INWED this year, our younger girls will be undertaking Morse texting, as they have progressed on to the BBC Microbit.
The plan is to use the Microbit to control Scratch the cat, involving interactive coding. They have already done some Morse code with the Snail Morse key, so this will tie in nicely.”
