1 December 2025 – YOTA 2025 summer camp, the RSGB Youth team, and what’s next for youth
The presentation
Each year young RSGB members are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country and national amateur radio society by attending the Youngsters on the Air (YOTA) summer camp. The camps enable young people to operate the latest amateur radio equipment, take part in construction activities and make international friendships. During this webinar, members of the YOTA 2025 Paris team will talk about some of the activities they enjoyed, and how they will be encouraging other young people to get involved in amateur radio in the coming year.
During the session, you’ll also hear from RSGB Board Director and liaison for Youth, Ben Lloyd, GW4BML and the RSGB Youth Chair, Chris Aitken, MM0WIC. They will give an overview of recent youth activities and engagement that the RSGB Youth Team has been involved with. They’ll finish the presentation with an outline on the RSGB Youth Team’s plans and aspirations for 2026.
