Smudge Lundegard, G3GJW (extreme right) at Cray Valley Radio Society’s 21st Anniversary
Smudge Lundegard, G3GJW passed away peacefully at the age of 94 two weeks before Christmas 2021.
He was a RSGB Council member for some time, including Executive Vice President in 1995. He was the first to start pushing for Council members to have a fixed term of office so that new blood would be appointed from time to time, which became Article 26 in the RSGB Mem & Arts. He was also RAYNET coordinator for some time and won the RAYNET trophy in 1995.
