‘Get on the air for Christmas’ charity auction is live
Our ‘Get on the air for Christmas’ charity auction is live! Take a look at the item on eBay.
Roy Bailey, G0VFS won the Lockdown Category in the RSGB’s annual Construction Competition and has donated this beautifully-engineered VirusPerpleXed Bug CW Key for the auction.
It was created during the first lockdown period of self-isolation and he says that, “It seemed only logical and fitting that the story of this key should end with it being donated for auction to give financial support to the NHS. It is my hope that the auction will reflect well on the hobby of amateur radio and that, at this time of international crisis, the amateur radio community will once more respond by giving this auction its full support.”
The auction will run until 19 December, ending on the day that ‘Get on the air for Christmas’ begins.
We encourage radio amateurs to take a look and help to raise money for NHS Charities Together (registered charity no. 1186569)
