A series of special event stations is on the air from the Netherlands during the festive period. Recently, the PD25HOHOHO station was worked on the 20m band using SSB.

Special callsign GB70RS is in use to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the RSGB’s weekly news service GB2RS which has been running continuously since 25 September, 1955.
